Yes I received this email from my sister about Caroline:
Hi!
Sharing some good news ..... Caroline had an MRI this past Tuesday and her neurosurgeon just called with results -- no change in any part of the tumor or the cysts! He looked at her last three scans and saw no "clinically significant" change amongst them. He used the word stable again -- how I love that word! She will have another scan in 4 months and as always will follow up with endocrine and ophthalmology at that time.
I shared the news with Caroline and this was the first time she seemed to understand and truly appreciate the words -- that her tumor is not growing was good news to her, too :)
Thanks to all for prayers and support!
Have a great weekend!
Aimee
I had a great weekend with Hunter. Friday night we stayed in and watched movies ALL night. He fall asleep on me which doesnt happen very often any more, so I let him remain sleeping on me until we both started sweating. Saturday, Hunter wanted donuts so on the way there I stop by the bank. The teller gave Hunter some smarties. He told me he didnt want them for a week because he gave up sweets. You know for lent. (right, because donuts arent sweets and pretty sure he had sweets all lent). I rolled up to the drive up window, Hunter orders and I quote: I want donut holes, two white sprinkles and one chocolate sprinkles and a coffeee. The lady laughed, as did I. I instead modified his order: donut holes, one white sprinkle cake donut and an apple juice. I dont eat donuts very often nor do I drink coffee but apparently my son is addicted. I dropped off the van at my parents (YAY... Did you ALL read.. I no longer have a mini van..... GAWD) and picked up the car I bought from my sister (2002 Jetta). I went to my friend Becky's after picking up the car, her and I walked, I then took Hunter to bowling. Hunter got a 102 for his second game, he is slowly improving his skills. After he took a short nap we met, Rachel, Kelly, Grace, Amelia, Connie, Mike, Katelyn, Dylan, Jon, his three girls, Becky, Shelby and Logan at Ballards Nature Center. What a great MUDDY time! I wish the weather would have cooperated more but all went well. Sunday, Hunter and I went to church and breakfast. It was a good weekend.
