Here and There

Posting on this seems to be a hard thing for me. Not only am I not witty, I just dont ever think about writing on this except when I am at work. So here I am thinking... at work.. I need to blog. Although not all of my thoughts will be complete when I am at work as I still have to work while writing.

I am still running here and there. I am suppose to be training for another half marathon which has been going fine until this past week. I havent ran since Saturday March 13. Not because I didnt want to, but because I literally just havent had the time. With this time change, I have been late getting to bed and late getting up. It takes Hunter and I almost a week or two weeks to adjust to time changes. I also have been adjusting to the new feeling in my back. I have been having back pain for about two years now. I have had an MRI and xrays. I have been going to a Physical Therapist and she has been encouraging me to go back to make a Dr listen to me. Thank goodness my family Dr finally listened and he sent me in to have xrays to see if my leg lengths are different. And yes they are. Since my accident (5 years ago) my body has slowly been adjusting to my leg length difference and in turn my back has been suffering. So I got a lift in my shoe and it is taking a little time to adjust to it but my back pain has started to decrease which is great! So this Saturday I am running 8 miles! I still have 20 pounds to lose but I have lost 23 so far.

Hunter is loving this weather but it is definitely taking a toll on him. He is SO tired after playing outside. He has started to be more bossy lately. I dont know if it just a phase or if it is his age but at some point... it needs to stop. His back talking me drives me up a wall and him forgetting his manners has gotten him in time out. He is learing so much and so fast. I cant believe he will be 5 this summer. Sometimes I want to go back where he wanted to cuddle with me all the time. He still has some moments where he has to climb on me and take a rest.. I will take anything I can get these days. He LOVES LOVES his pre-school and now I have to decide whether to send him to kindergarten in the fall. His pre-school teachers tell me he is ready academically but since he is the smallest, he still wears his heart on his sleeve and gets his feelings hurt easily so pushing him into kindergarten would be fine or keeping him in pre-school another year would be fine as well. I am waiting to talk to a kindergarten teacher at his possible school for the fall and see what they have to say about it. Plus I found out he can do half day kindergarten for the first year.... What are your thoughts on this?

More to come......... you know in like 6 weeks.. LOL

Thanks for finally updating your blog! Keep us posted on your back problems!

Where does Hunter go to pre-k? Calvin goes to T-Town. He'll be going to 1/2 day Kindergarten at T-Town next year and then full day the following year since he has an August birthday. I talked it over with his teacher and did a lot of research and feel that holding him back may be a huge advantage in the future.

We should get together for a play date soon!
